Sushi Aka tombo is founded by Ryoji San, who has served traditional Japanese food for over 40 years. Ryoji San has always wanted to share his Japanese heritage and culture with beautiful San Francisco. Bringing authentic Japanese food to those who can truly understand it and have the ability to appreciate it. 



Aka Tombo, defined as Red Dragon fly, symbolizes  the rural condition freshness that creates Japanese taste of authentic food.  The  quality of the rice of the nigiri sushi has  special flavor, while the fish is fresh because it is brought in daily. So, you can taste the texture in the firmness and freshness in each bite.



What makes Aka Tombo unique is not only HOW the food is made, but WHAT is being made. Aka Tombo welcomes you to see and taste the difference.
